A Community Worth Protecting
Parish Proud is a Lafayette-based nonprofit dedicated to creating a culture of shared responsibility for the places and spaces where we all live, work, and play. Through placemaking, volunteer events, education, and community collaboration, they’ve removed hundreds of tons of litter from Acadiana’s roadways and waterways, mobilized thousands of volunteers, and helped transform the way our community thinks about its environment.
At Acadiana Waste Services, we believe that taking care of what we pick up is only part of the story. The other part is making sure Acadiana stays clean in the first place. That’s why we’re a Mission Partner of Parish Proud, supporting the events, programs, and people working every day to keep our region something we’re all proud of. Clean communities start with people who care. We’re honored to be one of them.
