Thanks to the tremendous response from Lafayette residents, participation in Acadiana Waste Services’ residential recycling program has more than doubled since 2023. To better serve our neighbors as the program continues to grow, we are updating collection days and rebalancing routes beginning August 3, 2026, helping distribute stops more evenly, improve efficiency and maintain dependable service.
